Came here on a whim during a quick stop in Mineral Wells. So glad I did! This is the cutest barbecue place I've ever been. Lots of seating and a specious store section. Loved the country music. I had a large chopped brisket sandwich with baked potato salad and banana pudding. Added sauce and some fixings. Food was soooo good! I especially loved that I had enough leftover to eat later for dinner. Service was also above and beyond. I look forward to returning on my next visit to town.

WOW! From start to finish, what a wonderful experience! My husband and I were warmly greeted by multiple employees upon entry. Our order was taken, making sure we had any questions answered and had everything we needed. We filled our drinks, selected our condiments and as soon as we had a seat at the cute table we picked, our name was being called and our order was ready! Our food was hot and fresh! The chopped brisket was tender and so flavorful, the baked beans were topped with pulled pork and tasted amazing but the baked tater salad was the star of my lunch! My husband definitely enjoyed the banana pudding too! We will absolutely be back again soon!!!

EDIT: I ended up bringing my Whole family to try this place out since I had such a good experience the first time. While the food was still good the customer service was absolutely horrible. People walking by ignoring me while I waited for help and the girl at the counter who took my order acted annoyed with my questions and acted like she didn’t wanna be here. Maybe we will come back and I hope they can fix the issues. I ate here for the first time yesterday and this place is AMAZING! I called in a Togo order and the young man on the phone had excellent customer service. I picked up my order and the brisket was so juicy and the bun on my sandwich was toasty and buttery! The BBQ sauce was so good I wish I would have had more. Plus they open at 10am when all the other lunch places don’t open till 11 so it really helped me out that day. We will be back!

Awesome! Four days of traveling and trying foods we haven't had before. Hands down best meal of our trip. If your looking at a review to see if you want to try. Do It! You won't regret it.

Howdy ya'll. Glad I stopped here with my jeans stained with prickly pear fruit juice and dove blood. Nobody here at Natty's gonna snub their nose at a hungry country boy in this place. Service is fast and friendly with a zip down the line. Ribs: Sticky goodness, falls off the bone. Won't disappoint. Sausage: Very good. Brisket: Most tender brisket I have ever had. Literally flakes away with a plastic fork like a well poached salmon filet. Truly a treat. Beans: great beans, my son got chopped brisket in his beans, I should have done that. Will be back, looking forward to it.

We were camping our way across Texas and found Natty Flat while camping at Mineral Wells State Park. Such an awesome surprise! The staff were so friendly and gave us great recommendations. We loved all the meats we tried - brisket, pulled pork and ribs! Delicious!

Hubs and I selected a brisket plate, his chopped and mine sliced. The meat was tender and delicious! It was not warm at all which I thought was unusual but I would rather have it that way than nuked. I chose green beans and come slaw for my sides which were great! Jeff chose a baked potato which counted as 2 sides plus a 1 more. It was huge!!

This was an amazing stop, my husband and I both ate the sliced brisket sandwich and it was so good. The staff was super friendly and patient as we decided what to eat. The inside of the restaurant was so cute definitely nailed the country smokehouse theme.
